Strip-Work: strip-tillage cultivators
Download Pdf

Strip-Work is the result of agronomic studies to optimise harvesting and reduce costs. The cultivator works on the rows by alternating areas of untilled soil to rows of tilled soil. Indeed, planting crops in the rows of soil every two years reduces time and costs required for tillage and this avoids soil compaction, too. It is also possible to combine localised fertiliser distribution to carry out all the operations to prepare sowing in one step, thereby reducing operating time by 40% to 60% compared with traditional methods and cutting fuel costs by 60-70%.
